MagForce (Patent Pending) disrupts the market for magnetic self-adjusting screens with its revolutionary longevity and strength. For over a decade, Fenetex has manufactured hurricane screens to meet the most demanding building code.
We’ve always used a fixed track for high wind applications, but we saw a need to create a self-adjusting track built for extreme wind loads. What we wanted was to have a hurricane screen that would be as wrinkle-free as possible because people use our screens for much more than just hurricanes.
Our engineers determined that magnets would be the best technology for this purpose, but Fenetex realized that improvements needed to be made to overcome the failures of other magnetic screens in the market.

Common Features
Fenetex hoods and reels seamlessly match any size track and screen type. Our system automatically selects the appropriate hood and reel based on your order’s dimensions and screen type. We exclusively utilize extruded aluminum hoods and reels, recognized as the superior materials.
Many companies make extruded hoods and reels, but none take things to the engineering degree that Fenetex does. Our aim is not just to create an “okay” or even a good screen system – we strive for nothing less than the best.
Fenetex’s screen housings are made from powder coated extruded aluminum to provide extreme strength and durability. Our housings are so tough they even pass the same large missile impact tests as our hurricane screens.
Powder coated aluminum is the right material for end caps. Specially designed flanges and screw bosses bring the end caps and housing together in a structurally sound assembly that supports the weight of the reel, weight bar, and screen.
Fenetex only uses extruded aluminum reels because we do not want to see rust stains form on our screens. Our reels are double-walled and made with stronger 6005A alloy for maximum rigidity. This allows for a flatter screen over competitor’s screens.
Everyone wants a flat, wrinkle-free screen. Fenetex’s screen compensators are all about achieving the best looking installed screen possible. Compensators allow the installer to ne tune how a screen rolls up. By making small adjustments to the compensator, wrinkles can be reduced and weight bars can be leveled.
Fenetex uses marine grade stainless steel fasteners. A great deal of what we manufacture goes to coastal locations where salt air and humidity are constant. We think of our screens in the same way and use the same materials that one would use if they were building a yacht. 
Fenetex designed the anodized aluminum motor brackets to withstand the high torque from the motor and to fight the corrosion that occurs with dissimilar metals. Our motor brackets do not rust and will never cause visible rust streaks.
In Florida we have tree frogs and sometimes they like to crawl into the housing to make a home. The Frog Stoppers are opposing stiff brushes integrated with the housing that works to keeps frogs out. It also work to clean the screen and keep any flying bugs from getting around the screen.
Fenetex’s molded bracket serves as the bearing for the reel. This single piece design has no moving parts, no noisy bearings, and no parts to break. What you get is a lifetime of hassle-free and quiet screen operation.
